Browsing Administrator Shares Over the Network

Salvete! Happy New Year!

I am using FCXE to browse an administrator share over the network. I am logged in as domain admin and am browsing a workstation. Now, the share works fine and I can browse the folders in FC just fine.

The problem is that, (not only is it slow to navigate, thinking a lot even on my i5 16gb Rammed machine - Lord knows why) you know how there is the shortcut in Windows 7 for "Documents and Settings"? It is a hidden shortcut to the folder at C:\users\appdata - well, if you try to navigate there, you get a "The specified network name is no longer available" - that is, you just can't follow the shortcut. However, if I go the long way via c:\users\whatusername\AppData then the nagivation goes just fine.

I don't know if this is a bug, or if it something Marek can do to make FC better than Explorer. If I try the same navigation in Explorer, I get "Windows cannot access \\computer\c$\Documents and Settings ... You do not have permission to access [path]. Contact your network administrator to request access." --- Well, I AM the network administrator, so I hope nobody ever needs to go the "short" way.
