In General;View;File/Folder List I have several different settings for Color By File Type. On the root directory of my drives it works just fine -- and all the files are colored properly -- but FC won't color any files in folders. I've closed the current tabs and opened new ones, did a Refresh All Windows (Shift-Ctrl-R), saved my settings, nothing seems to work. I even exited FC and went back in, but still no file colors in folders. Interestingly, folders contained within folders do get colored, just not files.
I'm using Windows 7 32 bit, fully patched and up to date.

Re: 591- File colors not being applied in folders
My color settings look like this:
Here is an example of a folder that has no colors applied to any of the files:
In the lower panel *.tmp, *.log and *.cmd are not colored, but I do have color filters setup for all three file types. In the top panel you'll see that the hidden file treeinfo.wc was colored using the filter I have setup for Hidden files. But I just noticed something as I was typing this message...
In the top panel Installed Programs.Txt isn't colored, but it should be blue. Now I'm not sure what's going on. It seems only attribute colors are being applied - files colors are completely ignored.

Re: 591- File colors not being applied in folders
You have to separate the extensions by ";" like it is written in the Example of the "Color by file type"-dialog.
e.g.: *.exe;*.com;*.bat
you wrote: *.exe *.com *.bat
e.g.: *.exe;*.com;*.bat
you wrote: *.exe *.com *.bat

Good catch! I totally missed that. Problem solved. Thanks...
