Favourites Menu

#1 Post by Janosik » 20.06.2012, 11:00

Hi!
Is there a way to edit my favourites list - quick and easy?
I mean - I have ca 20 folders saved in FC 2009. I found them all nicely put in the ini file under [DirFavorit] tab. What I would like to do is to copy them from there and paste somewhere into the FC XE ini file, which seems impossible. Doing a folder by folder (search -> add & save -> rename) would take me a lot of time and I'd like to avoid that.
cheers
j.

The favorites was redesigned in the release 593 viewtopic.php?p=12215#p12215.
Now you can add your favorite folders per drag&drop or simply per hotkey.

Because of the redesign the favorites are stored in the file "FreeCommander.fav.xml" now. This format isn't compatible with the INI format.
So you've to save your favorites once again.
But because of the new possibilities this may only take a few minutes.
