FreeCommander Fixes and Alterations

#1 Post by Armadillo » 02.12.2011, 01:12

FreeCommander XE 0.0.0.550 public preview is the best free File Explorer for Windows. It's still in beta but it beats out all previous FreeCommander versions.

There are a view things I'd like to see improved before the prefinal or final release.
  • More visual styles.
    Overall interface speed improvements
    support for more image formats.
Placing Free Commander in the Notification Area of Windows

And CTRL scroll wheel to make the icons larger or smaller as you can do in windows explorer without relying on thumbnail size. When can we expect the pre-final and final to be complete ? Can I incorporate a 3rd party file transfer into Free Commander ?

If you want FC's icon to appear in the System Tray, Open up FC's Options - in the very first item, called GENERAL, you will see options for that. There is "Minimize to System Tray" and "Always show system tray icon."

does that really work for you as expected? I use FCXE PORTABLE and it's not working reliably on my machine. :|
