Total of 2 "beta" updates since 2009.02a Final?

#1 Post by Bearded Kirklander » 17.12.2009, 19:20

I am wanting to confirm the status of releases since the 2009.02a Final version.

If I understand it correctly, there was

One "2009.02a Donor" release

then

One "2009.02a Build 410 Donor"

Is that correct?

Thanks

Will there be a publicly released 2009.02b Final version coming soon that contains the code tweaks/fixes from those two Donor releases? To close out the current codebase (assuming there will be no bugs found)?

Thanks

Still wondering if there will be a final version (including the 2 bug-fix builds past the initial 2009a release) soon?

Thanks muchly,

BK

I do not know now. If yes, then not soon.

Is it ok to share the 410 donor release?

If there are important fixes since the 2009a Public Release, I'd hope that all of the users would be able to grab a copy of the updated code.

Maybe a quick "2009b" Final Public Release containing those fixes you have already made would be helpful.

Thanks

Are the bugs fixed in those 2 "Post 2009a Final" releases important enough to make them available to users?

Thanks

PS - Here is what I believe are the bugs mentioned in those releases:

November 4, 2009 - FreeCommander 2009.02a donor

- Bug: Mouse scroll wheel does not work in viewer for RTF
- Bug: AV bei closing multirename window if hoover time > 0 (selection option)

November 25, 2009 - FreeCommander 2009.02a Build 410 Donor

- Bug: Synchronize folder function does not make distinction between German 'ß' and 'ss' (e.g. messwert.dat and meßwert.dat)
- Bug: Drag&drop operation fail if FreeCommander window is not active viewtopic.php?t=2283

Is the above correct?

Thank you again for your patience and help.

This version is for the donors only.

All the fixed bugs are old bugs.
I do not know now, when I make an public update. I think, in the next 6 months.

While I could understand holding newly added features for donors, I would have expected that bug fixes would be made available to all.

I guess 2009a Final will have to do the job then.

Thanks for the reply.
