I've used FC for years, but I'm on Windows 10 (Pro 64-bit) for the first time. I'm surprised to find that when I update FC, on reboot it's Startup shortcut launches the first version I installed (until I replace it each time with a current shortcut to "C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe" in "C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"). Is this what one needs to do in Windows 10?

Startup shortcut launches old version of FC
Re: Startup shortcut launches old version of FC
It was my mistake. The shortcut was launching the 64-bit version I had installed. It was just that I tried to 'update' it using a 32-bit version instead. I have to train myself to pick the 64-bit version to update!
