I've just tried FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 832 64-bit donor on my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad) with Windows 10. I tried both the portable version and the install version. I installed from scratch on a new laptop (not upgrading a previous version) and in both cases Freecommander hangs when I click the menu Tools - Settings. I left it for a while but it shows up as Not Responding in the task manager, and I have to shut it down manually.
It is a work PC and it has Sophos Antivirus and Microsoft Always-On VPN installed, if that makes any difference. Sophos is reporting no malware found. I can't see any errors in Windows event log. Can anyone help?
Settings menu makes Freecommander hang
Re: Settings menu makes Freecommander hang
Build 740 seems to work OK, so I've goe back to that for now.

In 832 can you open the tree (Alt+T)?
