I just installed the Build 810 64-bit donor version and read about the feature to get a different background color in the find dialog when I search through the file list.
For some reason I can't get it to work. Is it correct that this affect the quick search on the find dialog?
First I start the find function and enter a search pattern, e.g. ".txt". Then I press ALT+Y and enter another string in the quick search to filter the find results.
Now I would expect the background color to be changed as long as the filter is active. Am I doing something wrong?
The background color changes correctly when I use the quick filter in the file list window.
Another question: is there a documentation available on the color numbers? I found color numbers in a range from "-16777211" to "536870911" and I have no idea what that means.
Thanks for reading (and answering)
Can't get BusyColor working for find function
Re: Can't get BusyColor working for find function
This background color is not too different, just a bit darker, so perhaps try to change the monitor brightness to see the difference.
Alternatively you can use the option in Search dialog menu > Options > Auto hide search parameters on search end.
Alternatively you can use the option in Search dialog menu > Options > Auto hide search parameters on search end.

In the search dialog the color does not change after typing in quick filter field. Then I press ALT+Y and enter another string in the quick search to filter the find results.

The definition in settings is for main window file list only.
I do not think, you need any documentation. Simply use the color selector and the right value will be saved.Another question: is there a documentation available on the color numbers? I found color numbers in a range from "-16777211" to "536870911" and I have no idea what that means.
