Configurable menu options

I believe FC has reached the stage where it has so many options that it could be overwhelming for the novice user (and lets face it we were all there one day).

It would be great if there was the ability to pick and choose the options that were displayed on the menus similar to what we have now for the toolbars.

It would also be a bonus if we could rename the menu items the same way we can the toolbar icons (as in the <language>.lng files).
