Re: Open favorite folders in new tab
Thanks, i haven't saw this. I am using mostly 591, i am not sure if the last version 597 is stable enough to use it regularly. Anyone can confirm that 597 is stable and not giving problems.
Re: Open favorite folders in new tab
Peter77: 597 is as stable as 591. There has rarely been a beta release that I decided not to install because of a problem reported by others. Every version adds something better and more useful than earlier versions, and I've never reverted to an earlier release because of a problem. (Tip: keep a copy of the installer for earlier versions in case you do want to revert.)
Don't let the beta status prevent you from trying intermediate releases. It's not beta in the sense of "be careful, this might ruin your data" -- but rather "the developer is still adding and testing features before the official release." Some new feature might not work entirely as expected. Well, no problem; everything else works great. And users can test it and give feedback to improve a later version. You can get an idea of what the issues are by browsing through the Beta Bug Reports section of this forum. I don't think there are any deal-killers there.
