It is more convenient to support "Replace" mode while renaming the filenames.
For example, if I want to rename a file with name "abc_def.txt" to "Abc Def.txt", with current version, I need to delete "a/_/d" then add "A/ /D". If "Replace" mode is supported, I only need to press "Insert", then "A/ /D".
The mode is returned to "Insert" after the operation is done.

Ctrl+M (works on single file, too)
