Displaying favourites list with click on adress bar

#1 Post by cichlasoma » 21.04.2010, 02:30

The inability to display the list of favorite folders with a double click or right click on the address bar of a panel wherein I want to display one of favorite folders is the main drawback of FC for me. It may sound unimportant, but other commanders have this feature (whereas FC just displays the history at left click) and I at least am very used to it and find it very handy (what about the others)?

Check out the screenshots of the next version (the second one from the top):

I think you're looking for that folder-like icon with a heart in the middle.
That opens up a menu with you're favorite folders.

In the current stable version is easier to use the favorite folders button placed in the splitter bar.
You could also place it in a toolbar.

joby_toss: Well, the icon with heart on each panels's top in the beta screenshots would replace what I'm talking about very well. Currently, I have the "Favorites" icon in the splitbar, but I find its being common to the both panels quite confusing.
