syntax highlighting for XML files with any file name ext

I don't know if this can be implemented in the current FreeCommander design, but let me share one requirement I have in mind:
I have some XML files, which have file name extensions other than XML.
FAR manager's "Editor Colorer" can identify that the file actually has XML in it, no matter what the file name & extension is, and will properly highlight the syntax.

Is there a way for FreeCommander to address this requirement somehow?
