Missing controls from "Define favorite tools" dial

#1 Post by marcink » 10.12.2007, 18:25

When I go to Extra/Favorite Tools/Edit... and get the 'Define favorite tools' dialog box, there are controls missing to the right of 'Program' and 'Start Folder' fields. See below:

(I tried linking to an image here but site refused since this is my first post. the link is "http colon forward-slash forward-slash marcin.komorowski.ca/for_ext_links/FreeCommander/DefineFavoriteTools_missingControls.png")

According to the help file, there should be a folder selection control to the right of 'Program' field, and a pull-down-arrow control to the right of the 'Start Folder' field.

I am running FreeCommander 2007.10a on Windows XP SP2.

Let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help debug this problem.

Cheers,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,

simply define the first item and then you will see the buttons :).

Yes, I got it to work.

Seams that I did not find it clear how to define the first item. With Categories, there is a <None> entry, and so clicking on it and clicking on the "+" button somewhat makes sense, but I totally missed clicking on empty 'Items' list and than clicking on the "+" button.

Cheers,
Marcin
