I am using Free Commander 2009.02b and Windows 7
This problem also occurred when I was using Vista SP2 but NOT in windows XP SP3
I created a new network location in the "My Computer" folder and when I restarted FC I noticed that the C: drive icon in the drive bar (where all the drive icons are shown) was shown as a folder icon instead of a drive icon.
When I hovered the mouse pointer over the incorrect icon it showed the name of the network location but the free drive space for the C: drive.
Clicking the icon gave the contents of the C: drive, not the network location.
All other drive icons in the bar were correct.
I deleted the network location and restarted FC and the C: drive icon was back to normal.
I tried out a few other network locations and they all produced the same problem.
As suggested in your "How to report a bug" posting, I started FC with default settings and without the plugins by using these command line parameters:-
/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English
The problem was still there.
I tried it in a Windows XP computer and there was no problem.
Is this a bug?
Is there a solution?
Thanks for any help.
