Links to Folders are opened in Explorer

#1 Post by markus17 » 11.08.2009, 08:25

I created several shortcuts to folders. If the target name contains a dot character then it will be opened in an explorer windows when following the link. If no dot character is in the name then it is opened in FC as expected.

Example:
"currente Release.lnk" links to "Release 9.2" and is opened in Explorer. Renaming the target to "Release 9_2" and it is opened in FC.

I use:
Windows XP SP2
FC 2009.02

It is not possible to have a correction of this trouble instead of a change of the name of all the directories which have a point in their name ????
(I have many directories organised like :
1. DP
2. To do
3. Ready
4.......)
