Moving File to a UNC Path without refresh

#1 Post by giz » 14.04.2009, 13:15

I am using Freecommander 2009.02
on Windows 2000.

When I move (F6) or copy (F5) a file from a local drive to a UNC Path the UNC folder is not automatically refreshed.

In Settings > General > Auto Refresh On Drive....

have you got any of those unticked, like Remote for example ?

I just tested it and it worked, but I had that other problem where it creates a folder of the same name and puts the file inside it.

But that`s a different matter that I believe has been mentioned before on the forum.

I don`t ever use F5 or 6 so never notice this.

I have checked the settings and there are all checked.

With a little bit mor testing i found out that it occurs only when I move the file via F6 (not copy) or put it by drag and drop.

And I used a mounted network folder as source and a unmounted UNC path as destination.

thank you for your answer
