Cannot rename file if another one with same name exists

#1 Post by Ars » 25.07.2008, 13:27

While renaming a file (by F2), if another file with the new name exists in the same directory, it is impossible to replace it.
FC should warn about this, but allow replacing if "Yes" pressed.

I don't think it's a bug, but I'd like such a behavior too (perhaps as option), I know it from the previous file manager.

BTW I have already requested such an option, probably just via email, because I can't find it here in the forum.
