Not sure in this is a bug or an improvement... I'm using XE 740 32-bit. Tabs can be dragged between panes but not within the same pane (either in single or dual pane view). It would be nice if tabs could be dragged to re-order them within a single pane.

Also, it would be nice if dragging between panes moved the tab instead of opening a copy. I mean, I see where opening a copy can be useful. How about a shift+drag or ctrl+drag or something to move instead of copy?

It is possible, there is just a delay. Try to upgrade to the latest version if it doesn't work.

Confirmed. If I wait around 1 sec after left button down then when I start dragging the tab re-ordering becomes available.
