Add/change/delete timestamp formats in Multi rename

#1 Post by Underdog » 15.06.2017, 16:35

Currently the timestamp formats for Multi rename are hard-coded in FreeCommander.exe.

I'd like to be able to define my own formats and have these included in the Timestamp format drop-down in the Multi rename dialog. I'd also like to delete the ones there which I do not use.

It would be convenient, but not necessary, to be able to define these in the Settings. A section in FreeCommander.mren.ini would be perfectly adequate.
Windows 7, 64-bit (I know!)

It's just a workaround, but you can use the profiles.

I have the same problem but the offered workaround does not work. I need a Multi Rename timestamp of just "dd". I save it in a profile but when I load this profile a few characters (in blue) are always added. It actually returns to one of the pre installed timestamps starting with dd.

Thanks, Sjark

What exactly do you mean? Example? Perhaps the problem is, that 2 items can't have the same name.

I can reproduce something like that:
- open multirename
- set your options
- in date field set dd (use DEL key for removing blue rest selection)
- create new profile with current options
- set the new profile as first profile
- set the option "Open first profile on start"
- close the dialog
- open again
Now you can see the problem with "dd".

Fixed for the next release.
