I propose one small change
Right now files listed in [found via the] search file / folders window [the CTRL + F shortcut] cannot be subjected to the user defined shortcuts by the means of favorite toolbars hotkeys. One can press for example the CTRL + 1 [or +2, +3, etc.] hotkey, but nothing will happen; not the behavior that would have happened if those predefined shortcuts were executed on the same files in either of the two main windows
So basically what I'm proposing is: those hotkeys should be working also when searching for files and not just when exploring folders
Search file window doesn't execute user shortcuts

You can send the search result with one click to the file container and then use your shortcut.

Unfortunately that is not a case of only-one-single-additional-click workaroundKarol wrote:You can send the search result with one click to the file container and then use your shortcut.
Beause when I see the list of found files I have too:
#1] select those that I need [or skip this step]
#2A] press CTRL + S if I selected [executed step 1]
#2B] press CTRL + E if I needed all of the files
#3] select again in the temporary tab, but this time all of the files
#4] do whatever I need to
#5] close the search window
#6] close the temporary tab
And so, this adds up to 3 additional steps [#2, #3 and #6]

Take a look at my suggestion here.
