A folder containing multiple columns of files is displayed such that the width of every column is determined by the length of the longest named file in that folder. Thus, one long name can result in only one column at a time being visible.
In Windows 10 File Explorer the width of each column is determined by the length of the longest named file in that column. Column widths are therefore variable.
The benefit of this is that on average more columns are immediately visible.
Can that be done now in FreeCommander XE? If not, could it be implemented?
FreeCommander is superior in every other respect.
