Always copy/move using drag-n-drop (never run)

When I copy/move a file using drag-n-drop from one pane to another, I don't want to worry about accidentally dropping it onto an executable in the target pane (which would cause the file to be loaded by the executable).

Is it currently possible to set FreeCommander XE to always drop a file into the destination folder (even if your cursor happens to be over an executable in the target pane)?

If not, would it be possible to add this option?

It could even be made a consequence of enabling the option to always show a menu on a left-button drag-n-drop operation.

There is an option "Show popup menu for left button drop"

Thanks so much Marek.

When I enable that option, the menu that appears only contains "Open with" and "Cancel". It doesn't allow me to move or copy the file. :(

You're probably dropping the file on an executable. Just drop it on empty folder space.

Thanks Joby. I use horizontal panes. When there are more than a handful of files in a folder, there is no empty space. Consequently, when dragging and dropping (my preferred method), the only option is to drop it on a file in the destination folder. I want that to always be a move/copy operation (with the menu asking me which), but if I accidentally drop it on an executable, it doesn't work out.
