Move up
Re: Move up
This is how I do it using the mouse:
This is how I do it using the keyboard:
- select the file
- hit Ctrl+X
- hit Backspace
- hit Ctrl+V
Would be nice to have the option for a shortcut that automatically moves/copies the selected file/s to the parent folder, but I wouldn't use it much and I think I'll just end up forgetting about it.

Re: Move up
Very neat, how you made that little video and posted it here.joby_toss wrote:This is how I do it using the mouse:
What software did you use to perform the actual "capture" of your mouse movements?
And once the capture video was made, how did you then edit/convert it to a form suitable for insertion into the forum here to appear and behave as it does?
Very cool, and useful.
Re: Move up
Sorry for the off-topic: I used LICEcap to record an animated .gif and uploaded the result to Imgur. No other processing was needed.
Re: Move up
Very cool. Thank you. Great tool, as you already know, for demonstrating how-to info.joby_toss wrote:Sorry for the off-topic: I used LICEcap to record an animated .gif and uploaded the result to Imgur. No other processing was needed.
