Tiny Sort Indicators

Column sort indicators are rather tiny and are always at the top edge of the column header. I have a hard time distinguishing between ascending and descending triangles.
I'd like to see the placement of the indicator change from the top edge to the bottom edge of the column header depending on whether the sort is ascending or descending.
