Cancelling Drag and Drop

When I start to drag a file and decide to cancel by dropping the file in the same folder a window pops up saying "The source and destination file names are the same." I would like an option to disable this error dialog. I want to treat this as a cancellation with no message. This is the behavior in other file managers like Windows Explorer.

1. Use ESC key.
2. Use the option Show popup menu for left button drop

If you don't want to use a keyboard, you can move a cursor to the title bar, or other toolbar, icon will be changed and if you release mouse button, operation is cancelled, without any dialog.

Another way is to click the right mouse button, context menu will be shown, so you have to click left button to close it.

Clicking the middle button works too, no menu or dialog, it's just not so easy to click it while holding the left button.
