How to go at local computer

#1 Post by guu-sama » 28.06.2010, 15:37

in TC in command line i enter: "cd \\ip" and in pannel i get list of local shares.
in FC this command is sent to cmd.exe
cd "C:\windows\ gives the same result - cmd opens with c:\windows working dir
is it possible to go in local network without mounting?
Alt+G works only for network shares, for example, "\\comp\share", but "\\comp" does not work
Thanks!
PS. FC 2009.02a

I use simply command line:
\\ip
\\comp
c:\windows

You do not need to enter CD....

in my case when i type "\\ip" in command line the explorer opens with list of \\ip root shares. Alt+G with \\ip doesn't work for me.

i'd like to point this problem for FC's developers. This is really the basic functionality and it does not work in FC.

Thanks.
