Anything different in the INI file between v396 and v405?

I have been using 396 for the longest time but on a fresh install I think I'd want to go with the latest version - v405.

But before I did, I wanted to ask if there is anything different with the primary INI file between 396 and 405.

My thought was to install 405 on the new drive and then just copy the INI from the 396 installation straight into the 405 folder.

I'm not sure if that would be 100% no problem at all, or if there may be a reason why I should manually duplicate the changes to the settings via the standard interface in the 405 release.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There should be no problems (I've updated from another older version to 405 and had no problems).

Backup your ini file first.

Changelog for betas is here.

Was hoping to get the official word, just to be sure, but I'll start by configuring a fresh FC 405 install in a virtual machine and then compare those results.

Thanks

I think you can use the "old" ini, I'm using the same ini from the beginning (almost 4 years) and I didn't have any problem yet.

You'll need to reconfigure some options only in the completely new version.
