I (was) an user of xplorer2, before I discovered FreeCommander.
Now, a feature that I'm missing is to be able to select a file based on the extension of the file itself (not on the name). In xplorer2, I can press shift and start typing, and the first matching file with the extension I'm typing is selected.
For instance, typing: {Shift}+v would select a file .vbp.
Is there a way to do this in FC?
Any idea?
Thanks
Marco
Select file based on extension?
Yes: I've seen quick filters, and I like that feature really much!
But... it's ...too much (!) IMHO only to select a file based on the extension: for instance, selecting a .vbp (that is the only one in the folder with the extension beginning with .v) would be:
- xplorer2: Shift + v
- FreeCommander: CTRL+Y (quick filter) + .vbp (ok), and then clear quick filter again.
Maybe this could be a suggestion for a new feature?
Thanks
Marco
