hiding file extensions ?

Hey there !

Can anyone tell me how to hide the extension of known files in FC ? Sorry for such a n00b question but I really don't know how to.

I'm not sure what exactly you need, but you can hide all extensions in Details view, in columns view disable option "Show extension in Name column" and remove extension and type column.

Its a big security problem with hiding known extensions.
