Hello there,

I love love love this program but I have one major issue with it : when I click on a tab that goes to an unreachable network path, FreeCommander XE freezes for over 30 seconds.

Is there a way to either :

1) manually cancel the search for the path with a hotkey
2) shorten the timeout to a desired value? 5-10 seconds is plenty to know the address can't be reached. It doesn't have to be 30+ sec

Hello Jonathan, welcome to the FreeCommander forum.

1. Try Escape key and/or click the "Cancel" button which should appear after few seconds.
2. Is it possible to load the network faster?

You can try to use the option "Close all tabs with UNC path when the program ends".
