Drag & Drop is BROKEN in Windows 10

When using FreeCommander in previous versions of Windows, a user could drag a file over a preexisting archive, such as a RAR, in order to add that file to the archive. After dropping the file into the RAR, the RAR filesize expands and receives a new timestamp. This is a standard file manager practice that dates back decades.
However, when dragging the same file over a RAR in Windows 10, nothing happens. The RAR doesn't expand or receive a new timestamp because FreeCommander doesn't appears to recognize the action as an attempt to add the file to the RAR. Are there any plans to fix this? This seriously impedes workflow.
Drag & Drop not functioning in the year 2018 is completely illogical!
