Issues copying folder from desktop

Latest Donor Release 750, 64bit (but had it also with previous versions, but bug gets here more annoying), portable Version.
Windows 10, 1703.15063.483, 64bit
If I try to copy folders directly from desktop to somewhere else, it won't work. Copy-Request presents errors.
Build 750 now asks for administrative rights (i am admin user on the system) - and then freezes within the request.
Even if I start freecommander with administrative rights, it fails.
That happens for all folder directly located on the desktop, e.g. "C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Office".
All operations in an subfolder of this folder, e.g. "C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Office\Today\" are working flawlessly.
What am I doing wrong?
A bug? But if this would be a bug, it might have been discovered long before?!
