Thumnail view in 64 bit version

When switch to Thumbnail view the file panel contain normal thumbnails

The problem is not with FC.
What OS are you using and what IrfanView version?

OS is Win 7 64-bit SP1
IrfanView v 4.42 64-bit

I've just tested this on my win7x64sp1 using Irfan 4.42x64 and XE 730x64. Everything works just fine.
-download Irfan
here
-during installation I associated .jpg files with it and chose to save settings in AppData (might not have enough rights if you install in ProgramFiles)
-made sure in XE I use thumbnails, not large icons
-made sure in explorer Folder Options/View, the option "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked (just in case)

Note: you said "Thumnail view in 64 bit version" so I assumed you used XE 64 bit, although you posted this in the "XE-Public" sub-forum and there is no public XE 64 bit version yet.
