Windows Media Player Visualizations

I use visualizations from sound spectrum (G-Force & WhiteCap) in Windows Media Player. The visualization installer installs both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. I have the latest versions installed. When the visualization in Windows Media Player is set to either one of these (G-Force or WhiteCap) and I try to play a media file in the quick view panel, it crashes. This only happens in FreeCommander XE 64-bit. It works fine in the 32-bit version. If I change the visualization to one of the built-in ones (Alchemy, Battery, etc..) it works fine. On a related question, is it possible to make the quick view panel use J. River Media Center to play files?
