PDF preview too small

#1 Post by Gzk » 05.10.2020, 14:59

I've recently installed FreeCommander and I really like all its features and the settings interface is so easy to use and understand. Great Job!
I have come across one little problem with previewing pdf files when selecting the files in the list. While other files are displayed in full or even bigger than the preview pane, pdf files only fill a 1/4 of the space. I like the fact I can page through the whole pdf document, but it's a pain for reading and have to open them Acrobat even if it's for a couple of seconds. That's a shame. I maybe one of the few suffering this problem. I had applied the fix for 64bit viewing and was finally able to use the Explorer pdf preview without problems - I wasn't getting any pdf preview on Explorer before. I wonder if this is the issue and how can I sort it out for using the pdf preview in FreeCommander.
Thanks for reading.

What is your FreeCommander version? If not the 830 - update first.

Hi Karol, my version is FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 810a 32-bit public. I believe it's the latest one.

I was checking by chance some previous thread on blurred display viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7405and fixed the PDF issue. It now expands over the whole pane!
