I installed the latest version of FC (public) for evaluation. I wanted to try the 'redirect Win+E to FreeCommander' feature but after checking the option I started getting an Access Violation on startup. After clicking OK in the warning message the program would start and function normally. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but still getting the Access Violation notice every time I start the application. Here is the Warning Message:
Access violation at address 00FEFF55 in module
'FreeCommander.exe' Read of address 00000018.
How can I fix this annoying problem, thanks.

I would like to check your settings:
- please start the program
- go to the location of the program settings: Help->About: Paths info - click on the link for freecommander.ini
- pack all files and subfolders from the folder with freecommander.ini
- send me the archive file
What is your Windows version?

Re: Access Violation Error- Help Please
Thanks for sending the config file.
I have found the problem:
if thumbnail is active before closing the program, then an error message will appear on the next startup.
Both versions, 32 and 64 bit, are affected.

Success!
Thanks for your fast response to my posting. Changing the view setting from 'Thumbnail' to anything else did fix my issue. Will this be fixed in a future update?
