I am recently noticing that when I select certain files/ folders and drag them to move/ copy to somewhere,
a huge thumbnail icon appears at mouse point that hides the view in the folder-tree and file-list panes
and I am not able to see where my mouse is pointing to.
So eventually I have to drop "approximately" and sometime it had taken those things to wrong folder
and I had to go through long process of manually undoing-redoing.
I don't remember if it was always happening, otherwise I think I would have asked here earlier.
I am on 770. I don't remember If I did some change to cause that.
How to remove that big thumbnail?
Thanks.

A huge thumbnail blocks view in drag move/copy
Re: A huge thumbnail blocks view in drag move/copy
The default Windows drag image will be showed if you use "Use blocking transfer..." option.
Re: A huge thumbnail blocks view in drag move/copy
My fc has that option ticked.
This huge thumbnail is blocking view, I can't see what folder it is going to get dropped in. it is inconvenient.

It happens in windows also, though I have "always show icon and not thumbnails" ticked in windows folder options.
With this, I guess it has to be some windows setting getting inherited by fc.
May be fc can consider giving its own setting for the same.
I have observed this thing happening recently, since I moved from 8 to 8.1, don't recall it having happened like this earlier.
Thanks.
