FC Address bar does not register mouse pointer in the upper half of itself

I would like to point out that when mouse pointer is hoovering over the address bar in its upper half, the elements [drive letter / main folder and every other sub-folder] are not highlighted- thus cannot be clicked and switched to. So it is hard to utilize this feature
And at the same time, the bar with tabs, bar with drive icons and favorite toolbars register the mouse pointer from the very bottom to the top of them - thus making navigation in them user friendly
