FreeCommander File Operations

#1 Post by lukebrim » 01.02.2018, 20:06

Is it safe to use FreeCommander for Delete/Copy/Move operations instead of Windows? Is non-blocking transfers for Drag&Drop safe? Is the Operations Queue safe to use? How about FreeCommander vs. Vista mode? I am worried about corrupt files.

I think it is better if some users give you the answer.

I started using FC exclusively many years ago.
I am using FC-mode for file operations.
never ever did I have any file corruptions caused by FCXE.

I use FC XE from the beginning for about 99% file operations. Never had any problem.

For Delete I suggest to use FC operation and for the Delete dialog use option "Use Vista+ delete method" and the Queue option, the only reason - it's much faster if deleting many files (thousands).
