Its confusing me sometime, Possible disable item focus? or other solution

When I have no item select, actions(such as "Cut") will apply on focus item.
When I have item select, actions(such as "Cut") will not apply on focus item.

I'm sorry, I still don't understand. This behavior is normal / correct, if you select items, these items are processed.

BTW you can change the color for focused item.
