Multirename

Hi.
I have just started to use FreeCommander which I like very much and have already done a lot of multirenames.

How can I do this in a more easy way With Multirename:
I Select a lot of files + press CTRL M + do the changes + press Rename + Cancel + Select the same files again + press CTRL M again etc.
After I have done the Rename I would very much like to Select the same files again without leaving the MULTIRENAME Panel?
Sometimes I have to Select the same files more than 10 times because the Rename panel seems to be locked in some way.
Is this possible?
Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Hi Jon, welcome to the FreeCommander forum.

You can disable the option "Close dialog after rename", then you can just click Rename and Reload button, or easily press Enter 2x. You can also use F2 to start multi rename if at least 2 files are selected.

If you have problems with duplicates, you can use [c] - counter with 4 or more digits next to the name.

I was blind and did not see that the 'Rename button' changed to the 'Reload button'.

You're welcome, just to make sure, it's not my program, the (only) FreeCommander author is Marek, I'm just a moderator, bug tester, translator and I'm suggesting some features and improvements, (including Multi Rename).

I wonder why you need to repeat multi rename 10 times, if you need any help, just let me know.
