Hidden File Found

#1 Post by My712thLoginHandle » 05.03.2016, 05:00

I just started using this program last week and to my surprise, it found a hidden file, an image, of something from long ago. I first saw it trying Multicommander, but that program seems cumbersome. This program sees that same file now too. Yes, it is one of my images so nothing that "surprised" me. Anyway, so it found this file. I wanted to find out how Windows Explorer, Q-Dir, and Explorer++ never shown it to me in how ever long the file has been there. I have Windows set to show me hidden files, but alas no. Two computers, different file programs, will not see it but FreeCommander does. How?? It shows some superiority over the other programs in this way.
Version build 715 32-bit public, on 64 bit W10.
Thanks.
I reply as fast as I can at times, else it could be days/weeks/months. What you call resurrecting posts, I call "responding on my time."

If XE sees it, Win Explorer must be able to see it also! Check your settings.

Can you show us the complete path, name and attributes of the file.
Maybe we can see if its a 32-bit problem on 64-bit windows.
