I am trying to find out what is the default layout for a newly installed copy of FCXE on Windows 8.1.
I have recently installed it and the layout looks as if it is trying to copy my layout for Directory Opus.
Like my Opus layout, FCXE has a horizontal split, the same colour scheme and the same tabs, and no tree. The two panes have the same tabs on view as I have in my Opus layout. The files are listed before the folders. The window even has the same dimensions!
This is too much to be a coincidence. Could it be that FCXE detects the presence ot Opus, and duplicates as much as possible of the layout?
Default Layout
Re: Default Layout
Why would FreeCommander do something like that?Could it be that FCXE detects the presence ot Opus, and duplicates as much as possible of the layout?
You can simply check it:
- deinstall FreeCommander
- change your layout for opus
- install Freecomander and check the layout
