Tabs always at the same place?

#1 Post by Dirk » 22.05.2015, 08:49

I would like to have the tabs always at the same place and being grouped, e.g. the music tab in the left corner on top and related tabs next to the music tab, grouped in a row or one upon the other or a combination of them.

How could I do that?

Try "Lock folder tab" option.

Thank you, joby_toss,

I cannot get it to work, the tabs change their position though and activating that option deactivates the "Lock folder tab - no navigation" option (one at a time can be activated obviously).

It seems that I didn't really understand what you need. What exactly do you mean by "tabs change their position"?

Ah, sorry, this: http://i.imgur.com/FSESkyK.gif

The tab always should stay at its position, not move.

Ah, that... That's the reason I never use the "Multi-Line" setting for tab position. :)

My workaround: no more than 5 tabs opened at one time and

But this depends heavily on your screen real estate...

Many thanks for the screenshot.

Hmmm, without having activated "Multi-Line" it works (without and with changing these settings - http://i.imgur.com/ry8rJYp.png). But actually I need "Multi-Line" activated otherwise I always would have to click until the right tab is shown.
