Hello,
http://freecommander.com/en/version-summary/ is only half the truth. When I open an executable by double-click and or by <Enter> key in FC it will always run as a 32-bit process because it is a child process of FC. I could verify that. But I learned from other posts here that fccontextmenu64 is a genuine 64bit program. So I tried and could immediately see the difference: I can start an .exe as a 64bit process (if it is one) by "Open"ing it, or "Run" it "as an administrator" from its context menu.
I first learned about this difference when a batch I started in FC resolved %ProgramFiles% to C:\Program Files (x86)\ ...
Now I hope it will not take too long until I remember this when I run scripts or programs where the bitness makes a difference ...
