Activate quick filter as typing?

When i search for files or folder is it possible to activate the quick filter as i start typing, without the need to press a hotkey that activates the quick filter?

That's used for Quick search.

Yes, but using Quick Filter is better way to search files and folders, at least for me. I guess i can ask for this option to be included as a feature request.
