Unable to Copy File

#1 Post by frankd » 15.11.2014, 09:46

I get an error when using FreeCommander's copy function. The error is "Access is denied". I then cannot copy the file.

If I copy the file in Windows Explorer the message is "You'll need to provide administrator permission to copy to this folder." I can then Continue, Skip, or Cancel.

In such case you can
- use drag&drop
- use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V
- use the command "Copy: Win-Copy Dialog" (define first your shortcut or toolbar button)

Thanks Karol. I'll make a feature request to have FreeCommander support this in the Copy and Move windows.
