Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings
Added in 885 donor:
Implemented: Mouse shortcuts for right und middle buttons can be defined under Tools->Settings->File-/folder list: Mouse Shortcuts
Changed: Favorite tool as a folder item - if defined path exists as tab on the active site, the tab will be activated. Otherwise the defined path will be opened in a new tab.
If you want to open pair of folders - use field "Parameter" for defining the second folder.
Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings
Option to define in the [Form] section of the freecommander.ini (value 2 is available from version 886 donor):
0 - no change
1 - switch thumbnail and name functions, a click on the symbol opens the file / folder and a click on the label selects the file / folder
2 - always use open function on name and extension, ignore "By click on extension/item icon" options
This option affects Thumbnails and Thumbnail labels view modes only.
Code: Select all
ThumbOpenAndSelectMode=
1 - switch thumbnail and name functions, a click on the symbol opens the file / folder and a click on the label selects the file / folder
2 - always use open function on name and extension, ignore "By click on extension/item icon" options

Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings
Option to define in the [Form] section of the freecommander.ini added in version 889:
1 - show scrollbars in the main file list panels, default option
0 - hide scrollbars in the main file list panels
Notes / limitations for the option "0":
- it's just a workaround to hide white color scrollbars when using dark color scheme
- using mouse wheel, PageUp, PageDown, Home, End and other shortcuts still works
- known issue: when using mouse to drag and move, to select multiple items, file list is not scrolled automatically
- new toolbar buttons added: "Focus previous page item" and "Focus next page item", these can be added to the splitter or other toolbar to simulate scrolling (PageUp / PageDown)
Code: Select all
FileListShowScrollbars=
0 - hide scrollbars in the main file list panels
