FreeCommander XE: File Search in Windows 8 is not working

Hello,

I am using FreeCommander for many years and today I installed the new XE version. Everything is exciting except the file search is not working.

When I search for any patterns including *.*, the search window waits, I see some HDD activity and it stops and nothing comes up. I tried to run FC as admin, it doesn't help.

I used free commander's search before and I really like it. How can I make the search in FC XE working?

No problem here with FCXE build 657 x64
But have not provided any information for your system.
FC version, Windows version ?
